Conversion

I use metric weights and Australian metric cups and spoons in my recipes (some of my older recipes are without weights, apologies). The annoying thing about Australian tablespoons is that ours are 5ml bigger than those in the UK, US or NZ (don’t ask me why!). Generally this will not affect a cooking recipe too much, but if you are concerned about a baking recipe, consider using 4 teaspoons for every tablespoon instead.

For a thorough Imperial to Australian conversion chart see here.

2/3 cup 170 ml
